Help us raise fund for Cure Kids Fiji

Children are such a precious part of the Fijian culture and lifestyle, yet sadly, far too many lose their lives to basic illnesses that are both treatable and preventable in other parts of the world.

Thanks to the amazing spirit and fundraising of the AccorHotels teams, partners and sponsors across Asia Pacific, more than FJ$2 million has been raised so far through the AccorHotels Fiji Race to Survive to Cure Kids event. This is an incredible achievement but we need your help to do so much more. There are still far too many children with health conditions that medical research could solve.

This year’s race will provide a life-changing experience and will radically change the young lives of those who are less fortunate than us. 2016 is also a special year as Cure Kids and AccorHotels celebrate 10 years of helping Fijian communities, and with your support we can continue to build on the efforts of the previous decade.

Cure Kids Fiji

In June 2014, a four-year partnership project commenced with the aim of preventing and reducing the impact of rheumatic heart disease (RHD) in the Fiji Islands.

Cure Kids is working collaboratively with the Fiji Ministry of Health and Medical Sciences, Auckland District Health Board, and the Centre for International Child Health at Murdoch Children’s Research Institute.

The multi-million-dollar project was made possible as a result of joint funding provided through Cure Kids’ partnership with AccorHotels and MFAT’s New Zealand Partnerships for International Development Fund. FIJI Water Foundation generously provided funding for echocardiography machines which are critical to the delivery of the project. We are grateful for their support, and the support of our project delivery partners.
